Job Description:

Waste Management, Inc., a leader in North American environmental and waste management services, is seeking an Environmental Technician to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in supporting our mission to maximize resource value while minimizing environmental impact. The Environmental Technician will be instrumental in conducting field and laboratory tests on samples, ensuring compliance with environmental laws and policies, and actively participating in our recycling and renewable energy initiatives. Collect and test water and air samples to monitor environmental pollution levels. Assist with the design and implementation of waste disposal systems. Prepare, maintain, and review environmental investigation reports. Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and policies. Support recycling processes and operations within the facility. Work closely with teams to develop strategies that improve sustainability practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using scientific and environmental testing equipment. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
