Double J Transport is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled CDL A OTR Truck Driver (Reefer) to join our team in Jackson, Wisconsin. As part of our transportation and logistics department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods across various states. Our ideal candidate is someone who values safety, customer satisfaction, and holds a strong track record in the transportation industry. You will manage deliveries using our state-of-the-art reefer vans, ensuring that temperature-sensitive goods remain in perfect condition throughout transit. Manage and monitor temperature conditions inside the reefer unit to ensure the quality of goods. Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is road-worthy and compliant with DOT standards. Complete documentation such as logs, mileage, and cargo information accurately and timely. Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations to report any issues or delays. Adhere to all safety protocols and transportation laws. Proven ability to operate CDL Class A vehicles safely. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards. Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules. Strong communication and documentation skills. Problem-solving skills and adeptness in handling unexpected situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). Current DOT medical card. No recent DUI/DWI convictions.
